I love Singapore!
Time now...6.30p.m. Juz finished packing stuffs, getting ready for book-in. Now nthing much do, so come up here to post...leaving my hse ard 9p.m if my dad driving me to the interchange. Very fast...1 day of outside life gone, another wk of training starting...argh...tis wkend out ate alot of junk food I shouldn't have ate...yesterday got mee goreng, popcorn, nasi lemak and fries. Today got BBQ Chicken Wings, Laksa, Long John, Fried Tapioca...now can feel abit sore throat...shit...tis 2 wks cough and sick, didn't even dare touch a piece of potato chip and drink 1 mouth of Coke.
It's been a mth+ since I enlist...dunno if I shld say time passes fast or nt. Faster than I thot it would be...but hope it can be faster...10 more wks to go!
Tis morning went to my uncle's place to place offerings to my grandpa...and my grandma oso decided to go there stay until tues. After tat went Junction 8 walk walk and ate Long John Silvers (me, my sis, bro and mum). We sat there, then everyone lazy go buy, so we decided to play "O ar Pay ar Som". In the end, everyone kept having the same "sides", so my bro did the "C whu so suay tio then will go buy and cannot play cheat" kind of counting, wanting to set a trap and ask my mum go buy. Of coz, when the counting ended, the finger is pointing at my mum, and my mum started to get "high" and kept laughing until tears come out. Like small kid like tat...anyway, in the end my bro and sis went buy. End of dramatic scene on whether whu shld go buy.
Okok, short post for today...cyaz all nxt wkend (hope I dun tio Xtra training on Sat alone)...hope can bkout on Fri...but BMT liao, dun know got tis welfare or nt. Sianz...back to "jail"!

Back again...
Finally it's book-out day again...but sianz, onli 1 day...argh...I dunno y, but I'm starting to hate army life and I juz missed my civilian life very much. It's a very depressing thing. But weird...I nv got tis feeling during my 3-weeks confinement period, yet I got it when I get to book out every wkend. Starting of army life, I used to countdown wif my bunk ppl on how many days to book-out day...but now no more. All of us are like living day by day...no more tat kind motivation liao. Last time Fri or Sat book-out, Thurs will start to be in high spirits, but not now. Real weird...haha
Tis wk has been a bad wk for me, SOC learn the 1st 5 obstacles which uses lots of arm power, and it's my fatal hit. Seeing ppl clearing all like a breeze...yeah, I can do it oso lah, haha ~ Juz tat mine is called "juz chiong and care later", so in the end tio lots of unwanted injuries. Getting worried for my SOC...no...I dun wan stay back on wkend to train my SOC. So gonna rest my arms well and get ready for the nxt lesson. But of coz, there's a bundle of ppl whu r worse than me, some can't even clear 1 obstacle.
My 6 wks of PTP is coming to end. Come Wednesday, I will start on my BMT! PTP had been a slack phase for everyone. Every afternn will haf naps. Guess no more tis kind of life in BMT. Maybe the tighter schedule during BMT will make time pass faster...16 wks of sicko training, 6 wks passed. 10 more wks to go, and it's POP! Looking 4ward to it...juz hope to get eveything done well...
Oh yeah, come Wednesday, lots of my frends will be joining me in Tekong liao oso...but most of them in Sch 1, i in Sch 2.
Today had been a busy day for me...morning went gym b4 book-out, but arms tired after SOC, so was slacking all the way in the gym, my partner in the gym, tat slacker again. Then after tat got some running for those whu failed 2.4km. I tink I failed by abit the last time i ran, so I didn't put up my hand when the SIR ask whu failed 2.4km...ok, i'm lazy to run. Then after tat, platoon sgt gave us 20mins to change and pack for book-out. And muz do area-cleaning...but 20mins where got enuff time do all these things...I'm corridor cleaner, in the end, platoon sgt found bird shits, so kena pumped. Anyway, everyone kena pumped for different thing. Muhahaha ~
Then came hme ate, then went watch "Dodgeball" wif ah moi, rather lame show...haha ~ then came hme rest a while, took a bus wif mum to boon keng, she meeting my dad go dating...then i left and took NEL to Kovan to meet Duan for dinner and chit chat...walked wif her all the way frm Heartland Mall to Hougang Plaza there, tink took 1/2-hr...wah seh...then took a cab back frm there.
Tml will be booking-in again....at the latest time ever, 9.30p.m then need reach Pasir Ris Interchange...reach back Tekong will be rushing like mad again...hope nxt wk can book out on Friday! Wishing me all the best for BMT! 70 more days to POP! LoLx ~

Booking-In
After 4 nites at hme, wif a fever, cough and flu, I'm finally heading back to Tekong tml morning, 7.30a.m fastcraft. But anyway, I onli missed today's lesson. Oh yeah, tat slacker who always slack and keng wif me oso on MC tis 2 days, tml we will go back Tekong together. And my fever, forgot to thank him for it...he last wk already fever le, then pass to me. The 1st time I fever 2 weeks back, I passed it to him, but tat time I managed to go home and rest, he suay, haf to stay at sick-bay and kena drip. The worst thing is he kena poked 3 times then the needle went in. Dunno y, we keep passing virus to 1 another, killing ourselves...hahaha ~ My fever still haven ok leh, tis morning still got slight fever...cough drink finish the syrup liao still like no use.
Then afternn went Polyclinic for blood test, since I got a chance to be in S'pore on a wkday. Waited for 1/2-hr for my turn, went in, the nurse took my blood, and guessed wat she said..."U can go home now, we dun have the machine here to process the results u wanted." I was like 'wat the hell'...so I explained to her I need the report for my platelet count urgently and by today, but she kept repeating "Yeah, I know, u can go home now"...she dun understand wat I say, I oso dun understand wat she trying to say, so I decided not to argue and left. And I was wondering y she take my blood liao then say dun have machine...then take my blood for wat...waste my blood. And yeah, I didn't pay a single cent for it.
So in the end, my dad drove me str down to SGH to do the blood test again. Results showed tat I really have recovered from my illness...although I'm sick, my platelet count is still increasing...end of an uneventful afternoon.
Saw in the news 2 days back, stating tat Mediacorp and Mediaworks are joining together as 1 after 4 yrs of fighting for a share of pie, trying to kill each other. I think they got nthing better to do. I tink the ppl affected most will be the artistes whu jump here n there, like Chen Hui Hui, juz jump from Mediacorp to Mediaworks, and now she's part of Mediacorp again...so bo liao.
I guessed tat's all for today, will be back on Saturday!

Sick...Sick...Sick
Tis wk in Tekong is another slack week. Got tis IPPT disruption test on Wednesday. Passed liao can go home and enjoy 2 weeks of civilian life b4 coming back for BMT. In the end, my platoon got 5 ppl whu passed, my bunk got 1 person went home. So gd...anyway, i failed pull up and standing broad jump. And coz tat Wed is the test, so Mon and Tues not much training, to ensure tat every1 got enuff rest. Then Thurs went c MO at medical centre, coz cough getting worse, and starting to feel pain in lungs. Had X-ray which shows tat I'm fine. Got myself 2 days ATT B, which is light duties...no need join in training, juz sit and look and do sai kung.
Becoz of the 2 days, I missed 1 Route March and 1 SOC. Dunno if need stay back during wkend to cover back or nt. Then book-out on Fri nite, and fever in the middle of the nite. Woke up sick, and quickly take medicine...then went meet Chicken Tribe ppl. Came home having high fever...medicine lost it's effect. My parents nt at hme, luckily my aunt was here for dinner, she brought me to c doctor, tat time fever until 39.5 degrees liao. Doctor gave me 2 days MC...for today and tml, so Tues then need go back Tekong. But...now feeling better le, maybe will book-in tonite. Tml got Route march again, dun wan miss it again. Will c hw...
Anyway, yesterday met up wif Chicken Tribe ppl, got Shihui, Jing-ni, Jiayi, Doris and Eihua. Went Tanjong Pagar for lunch, then went sing KTV. Quite fun, and long time no c them liao...great to c them again.

Short Weekend...sianz...
Juz back frm meeting Duan...Sherwin and Serra, both in the end dun wan come down...again, tok rubbish...at the playground. Actually toking rubbish is gd, coz very relaxing...muahaha
Tis wk onli 1 day off...today bookout, tml book-in...so sianz...but better than nthing. Tis wk is a slacking week, no "lower limb" week, which is onli training upper limb, like arms. So tis wk no running or anything, even falling in we are not supposed to run, but to walk fast.
Got even darker tis wk, arms grown bigger...but my legs are slackin. Nxt wk is "lower limb" week, haf lots of running to do liao. Hated it. Wednesday is the IPPT disruption test, if pass, can come out for 2weeks, wif my pink I/C. But...cfm fail, so i can 4get bout it. Tis wk got 2 days did nthing except for training for bout 1.5hrs in the morning, then slack all the way in bunk, slp, read book...go down juz for meals. So bo liao.
Oh yeah, our bunk has officially been named as "Tekong Community Centre"...coz always got ppl frm other bunks come play chess, then we got 2 spare beds, where ppl oso come n lie there read newspaper n magazines. Totally like community centre, lolx ~
The past 2 wks water parade, another platoon after reciting the 7 core values, added 2 phrases which we thot is xtra and stupid: "Pain is temporary, pride is 4ever!" So we came up wif our own stupid phrase: "Botak is temporary, Handsome is 4ever!" Our sgts always feel very paiseh when we say tat, gao xiao...
Charlene jio go watch Jay's concert, now seeing got ppl wan go or not, then book tix together...want go c...
Our SIR told us sumthing funny. He say those gals whu sign on army in Tekong are not as onz and sporty as they look. He say he handled some gals b4, and he buay tahan them. Coz everytime say them abit nia, they will start using the gals' most powerful weapon...crying! And he hates it...coz when they cry, they win. Okok, juz sumthing to share wif everyone.
Tink nthing much liao...tired...but cannot slp, muz enjoy every moment b4 booking in again...tml need reach Pasir Ris interchange onli at 8.30p.m...gd! Oh yeah, still slacking and chao geng wif the guy beside me...lolx. Getting along well wif bunk mates oso...really happy tat I haf them...fun, or else sure sianz.

Booking-in!
Time passes so fast, 4 days 3 nites of enjoyment, all over liao, going back to Tekong in 16hrs. Nxt wk gonna be out onli on Sat, short wkend...sianz...
Today saw the news, American Idol 3 Tour is coming round to Singapore on 5th Oct! Never thot tat they will come Singapore...but...the concert is on a wkday, in camp...gonna miss taking a peek of Jasmine Trias...I guess they may appear on Singapore Idol too...not very sure. John Stevens and Amy Addams wun be coming...Singapore is the onli destination outside US...
Oct 5th got American Idol concert, Nov 27th got JAY...dunno wan go watch or not...then Dec 11th got Jolin...8th Jan got S.H.E! S.H.E 1 tink cfm going...they juz finished their concert in Taiwan a couple of hrs back...tink shld be a great 1...
Got another great news...although Eriko*s fanclub had been closed down due to her pregancy, her new album will be released on 25th Nov! It will be a BEST collection album...a bit weird lah, she onli released an album b4...way back in 2001, and a couple of singles, but now she going have a best hits 1. Maybe it*s juz to keep fans going on...
Tis few days r quite fulfilling...meeting up wif frends and stuffs. Thurs book-out...rest at home, Fri nite met up wif Serra, Sherwin and Duan. Serra started work at the airport liao, wif CAAS...pay gd, welfare gd, everything gd...Sherwin still self-employed fulltime slacker, Duan...same...still in the tuition centre. Then Sat afternn met up wif Yilong went watch movie, *13 going 30*, another lame show...haha. After tat came home played mahjong. My cousin, cousin-in-law, cousin-in-law*s mum, my mum 1 table. Me, my sis, my bro and a gal whu worked for my uncle, quite close wif the family too...we form 1 table. I won $93! 1st time play mahjong win so much...but my sis lost $50+, so i juz take a few bucks frm her...so in the end, got win bout $50...better than nothing.
Okok, gonna say goodbye again...Shihui and Tortiti, dun be lazy ar...go plan Chicken Tribe outing...

Back from Tekong!!!
I'm back home! Actually is tml then book-out one, but I got high fever, then the doctor there gave me MC ask me go home rest. Going back to Tekong on Sunday evening...got an xtra day more than others...haha. But gonna miss some training, have to cover it up on Saturdays.
Tis 2 weeks confinement in Tekong was ok...I adapted to the life there better and faster than I thot I would. I got nice bunk mates oso. 10 ppl in the room, all quite nice ppl lah, onli 1 Malay in the room...I got along quite well wif tis guy beside me, coz he's very like me, like to slack. Both of us, got chance sure is dream and slack, while others pack stuffs or do other things. For example, do pumping or wat, ppl endure and endure when they feel tired, but we got chance will be knees down to rest when the SGT not looking. So the bunk onli 2 of us got bruises on our knees (from the slamming of knees onto the ground up and down)...lolx.
I'm in Viper COY, inside got 4 platoons, my platoon till now seems like the best. Coz other platoons got siao siao SGTs 1...always kena xtra stuffs for no reason...then got 1 platoon worse...when we water parade (gulping down 1 bottle of tap water), tat SGT will check his platoon ppl c got whu no fill full, if no full, he juz throw the bottle to the front...then kick bags out of his way...mad 1...our SGTs all chinese, seems better for now lah, always give us chance. Always say final warning, but haven really tekan us. 2 weeks in Tekong, actually I felt quite ok wif the training and stuffs, some trainings are fun, some are tiring. But coz I not BMT yet, so the training quite slack lah, they will train u then let u have enuff rest...everynite will have bout 2 hours of free time...

Water parade in Tekong is stupid, coz we r expected to recite the SAF 7 core values before we can drink the water. Sumtimes really thristy liao still muz recite...stupid. It goes like tis...

After tis 2weeks of training, I finally got 2 muscles on my arms! Lolx! So satisfied...at least all the training and effort paid off...everyday will admire tis 2 small 'rats', lolx! Okok, going mad...oh yeah, saw quite a few frends in there oso...ppl like Chris and Weilun...and Shahid.

I'm back home! Actually is tml then book-out one, but I got high fever, then the doctor there gave me MC ask me go home rest. Going back to Tekong on Sunday evening...got an xtra day more than others...haha. But gonna miss some training, have to cover it up on Saturdays.
Tis 2 weeks confinement in Tekong was ok...I adapted to the life there better and faster than I thot I would. I got nice bunk mates oso. 10 ppl in the room, all quite nice ppl lah, onli 1 Malay in the room...I got along quite well wif tis guy beside me, coz he's very like me, like to slack. Both of us, got chance sure is dream and slack, while others pack stuffs or do other things. For example, do pumping or wat, ppl endure and endure when they feel tired, but we got chance will be knees down to rest when the SGT not looking. So the bunk onli 2 of us got bruises on our knees (from the slamming of knees onto the ground up and down)...lolx.
I'm in Viper COY, inside got 4 platoons, my platoon till now seems like the best. Coz other platoons got siao siao SGTs 1...always kena xtra stuffs for no reason...then got 1 platoon worse...when we water parade (gulping down 1 bottle of tap water), tat SGT will check his platoon ppl c got whu no fill full, if no full, he juz throw the bottle to the front...then kick bags out of his way...mad 1...our SGTs all chinese, seems better for now lah, always give us chance. Always say final warning, but haven really tekan us. 2 weeks in Tekong, actually I felt quite ok wif the training and stuffs, some trainings are fun, some are tiring. But coz I not BMT yet, so the training quite slack lah, they will train u then let u have enuff rest...everynite will have bout 2 hours of free time...
