End of Field Camp and Dirty Days!

I'm back from 3 days 2 nites in the jungle again, from my Situational Test...although onli 3 days 2 nites, but time passes so slowly and it's worse than the 7 days 6 nites of field training last wk...reason being whole 3 days keep raining, and everywhere u walk on, is like stepping on shit, coz all soft soil...

The main aim of tis test was to pick out the potentials whu have leading capabilities and anyone whu fits into the tinking soldier category...these ppl will be going to OCS (officer course) or SISPEC (SGT course)...n since I didn't even consider any of tis choices, so I was there juz for the sake of being there...missing tis test would mean joining other coy another day into the jungle. We were tested by regulars and re-service personnels, going thru stations where they test ur skill of cooperation and stuffs...e.g, gif u a few planks and they want u to cross a fast flowing river...

Everyone held 1 appointment each, specializing in different aspects, like got Medic, LAW (shoot tanks), Mine Sweeper (clear mines) blah blah...I was a signaller during the 3 days, tat is juz got a walkie talkie, go where oso report back to HQ...fun but stress, coz tat thing cost a few hundred bucks, and we had to lie on the ground and crawl and run n everything...I was lucky...medic had to carry a stretcher, and LAW had to carry a big pole, tat kind can shoot "topedo" out 1...

Anyway, the interesting part was tat I finally saw the wild boars all the sgts and officers were saying...lolx ~ and yeah, during my field camp, I oso saw fireflies...1st time in my life...

So now, after 2 field camps, it's the end of these ration food and mud shit...no more outfields! So happy...

Yesterday booked out at 6p.m...then reached hme nthing do, went meet Duan tok cok...it was a relaxing nite, even when it's juz sitting down there doing nthing...we are 2 ppl whu r tinking of getting married but nw having an empty lovelife...lolx ~

My sis went to pre-purchase S.H.E new album le...heard the new song on radio, nt bad lah...written by Jay. [Encore], out on 12th Nov!

N yeah, Eriko's singles collection album gonna be out too! Although all the songs either her old album have liao or I got the singles le...I'm still gonna buy it! Got 1 new song and a DVD which got lots of xtra stuffs. The cover is nice too...tinking of buying imported version...



Finally....after 1 yr 3 mths, she got new release. She oso gave birth to a boy named Raimu on 18th October...

Dunno y my words all became bold liao...checked thru the html, nthing changed leh...sianz.

Changed my layout pic liao oso...tat's Eriko...haha ~ will change the whole look of my blog after I POP bah...tat's in 33 days!

I survived thru my field camp!

Juz like wat the topic stated...I'm really glad tat I'm back in 1 piece, wifout missing any training during the 7 days in forest. N yesh, it's a tiring and mentally shag experience...7 days wifout bathe, slping wif insects, more n more mosquito bites, darkness wifout light, ration food everyday...all these r hell an experience...not forgetting getting dirty everyday, sweating like a tap and meeting endless unreasonable timings...and, it's all over!

Our sgt warned us beforehand tat the field camp is all about dealing wif mental stress...n I onli understood wat he meant during the 7 days of forest survival training...becoz of all the living conditions listed above, everyone became so sick and tired of everything tat every little thing 1 of our platoon mate did wrong, no matter how unserious it was...they juz can't control their temper anymore and started shouting at one another. Okok, it's the end so shall not tok bout it liao!

Oh yeah, nxt wed got 2nd field camp, but tis time onli 3 days 2 nites, n dun tink will be as stressed up as tis 1...so I guess it's gonna be ok...tis 2nd field camp is sort of a test based on our training for the past 7 days...

Today met up wif quite a number of friends within 9 hours...1st met up wif Jason, got a letter from Socorro frm him, and chatted wif him for a while b4 heading to Chinatown to meet Duan, decided to go KTV, so went Kbox sang for bout 3.5hrs, then went to meet up wif Chicken Tribe ppl at Dhoby Ghaut to catch movie, "White Chicks"...damn stupid show, but it's a nice stupid show...then went drink kopi, tok crap and went took neoprint b4 heading home.

Great to c everyone again...found tat Duan really became very ah ma, sing songs mostly sing oldies, like Teresa Teng lah...then Shihui and tortiti became more crappy...Shihui even point at ppl and say he look like Santa and say Daniel looks like cow...Jiayi is still as quiet and Jason is still like a big bro to me...haha ~

Last thing to complain...after tis field camp, I got back lots of bruises an cuts all over, not 4getting aches, and a face which I juz found tat started to discharge oil like it's free and none of my biz...thx to Shihui whu pointed out to me, she juz nw told me my face like got put water, then I came back, look into the mirror, and found all the oil on my face...muz be the camou cream tat's on my face for 7 days...

Okok, shall nt grumble as anymore, or else I will become grumpy like Tortiti...
