I got a pager!

Hahaha, I got a pager, given by the camp. Not for personal use though. Coz now our battalion is having tis "Alert Red" period, whereby they will page u thru ur pager, and u muz be back in camp within a given time. For me, I haf to be back in camp in 1 hour...sux. I have to 'on' it 24 hours a day, till July, and I haf to buy my own batteries...

I'm supposed to be in outfield rite now, enjoying the stars in the jungle. But coz at 1st I not feeling well, so my dear CQ ask me dun go...and oso coz for the above "Alert Red" shit, I'm attached to another coy and they told me tat I need to pack my fieldpack n SBO (thx to Sherwin for lending me his SBO coz mine was stolen) wif the standard items. And I dun even haf a single item. So I asked for off to go buy my stuffs today oso. On the way go collect my new passport.

The suay things happen today. I drove to Lavender wif my mum to collect passport. Reach there then found tat I forgot my I/C! Lucky still can collect...they verify by scanning my thumbprint on the spot. Then we decided to go back Tampines to buy my army stuffs even though Beach Road (the place wif army stuffs) is juz rite behind us. Then the 2nd suay thing happened. Tampines tat shop closed for a off-day! Lucky got another smaller shop which sells some army stuffs. But coz they dun sell much, so I got a few items missing on my list.

Ok bah, tat's the end of my boring life...day by day, hour by hour...when's my ORD?

I suddenly realised...April is coming to an end!

It seems like juz yesterday when I said April will a sucky month, but it's drawing to an end in bout 6 days liao! Wow ~ And I really didn't realise tat...tis is the 1st time I shall say tat time flies in army. Juz for tis time. But of coz, if can faster then best! I still remember when the New Year came, I was grumbling oso, saying onli Jan, so sianz, but now already going end of April liao, 1/3 of the yr over liao. Wow ~ wow ~ I feel so much much better and happier whenever I think of tis. Nxt yr at tis time, I will be relaxing my life off in camp...deciding what I wanna do when I ORD!

Tis wk actually got a 4 days 3 nites outfield, starting tml morning. But in the end became tml nite then move off, and it will end on Thursday morning rather than Friday nite! It's juz another great news for me ~

I'm still sick, but I suddenly feel so happy...even though it's jungle life again tml. It seems tat I dun "repel" to outfield much liao nowadays. Can say I "kan kai" le bah. I dun feel much bout outfield nw liao oso...go then go lor.

But...ask me again, if I love army? Sorry, I still hate army, to the core.

TWINS...

Been listening to Twins for the past few days, shit. Their canto songs esp. I've nv decided to hear canto songs in my entire life, and here I am, repeating their few canto songs I have...Anyway, tat doesn't mean I'm buying their album or wat. I've decided not to buy any more albums again (except maybe like S.H.E lah, F.I.R lah, and Eriko)...since I dun use my discman nowadays liao. 3 cheers to d/ling! Opps ~ I'm not supporting piracy too...

Yest went to watch movie wif Duan, after tat went to a playground play swing. Not childish k...juz recollecting all the childhood memories, it's been a long time since we were on a swing. But all these nice recollection were spoiled by the feeling of vomitting after swinging for juz awhile. I tink the swings nowadays are not made for adult-use. Damn it.

4 weeks of continuous outfield...1 week juz went by, 3wks more to go! And it's quite relaxed liao. Nxt wk is the siong 1...sibeh sibeh sianz. And I'm still sick.

Headache...Heaty...

Not feeling well today. I mean now. Having a terrible headache, worse than my usual headache recently. I tink is coz of lack of slp, coz yest went outfield and slept less than 4 hours. Now my throat is beginning to feel "hot"...am I getting sick? I feel like getting sick, and get MC...but thot of all the wrk in camp waiting for me to do, I suddenly dun feel like getting MC le. Am I a workaholic or am I juz being resposible? Maybe I'm juz dumb, lolx ~ Anyway, I juz ate panadol...sumthing which I wun do if tis sickness came a few mths back.

Feel tat ppl like to tell me sumthing when they need help from me...tat is...

Lolx ~ A few ppl told me tis ever since I became a storeman, and this always comes when they need a favor or help frm me. I juz received another sms frm the other storeman telling me tis, and he need me to help him buy stuffs. Well...wat to do, I'm a nice and trustworthy guy...lolx ~

Getting quite tired of life...haizz...but wat to do? I got 1 yr 5 mths 29 days more to go!

Juz a short post...

Sometimes I feel tat I'm a lucky guy, I'm a happy guy, juz like I am tonite. I'm happy!

Today is Saturday...yet I haf to report back to camp for some inspection thing which I was not even involved. So practically, I was sitting in the store the whole morning till 3p.m. Feeling hungry yet no food to eat...argh! Nv plan tat they will finish so late, or else I would haf gotten sumthing to eat on my way to camp. Anyway, I booked out wif a spinning head (should be due to hunger) and lack of energy. I was so glad when I finally stepped into my hse.

Anyway, in conclusion, juz wanna say today is a very tiring yet happy day!

Sibeh sianz at the thot of the nxt 3 weeks. Continuous outfield. Time to feed the hungry commando mosquitoes and combat rations! Wahahaha! Wish me gd luck!

Whew...it's juz so great to be slacking at home

My last day of off. It's really been a long time since I slack at home like tat, enjoying the computer, bed and everything. Doing tis once in a while is great! It will be even better if the camp dun bother me wif all the fone calls. Argh...

Went Orchard wif Duan on Monday, it's oso been quite some time since I went town. We went Kbox, then went eat tis DIY ice-cream which is nice and fun. Shall go again nxt time! Then we went HMV where Duan bought a few Beyond's old CDs and Twins' new chinese album. As for me, I bought F.I.R's new album. It's a nice album...when we wanted to started walking ard Orchard, it started to rain heavily, so e took shelter at the Singtel shop beside Party World. When the rain stopped, we walked to Plaza Singapura and had dinner. Tis marks the end of a Monday.

Tuesday...went to work, and after tat went my uncle's handphone shop. He gave me a new handphone! Sony Ericsson J200. After tat went Amos hse ate dinner and went watch movie wif Duan at AMK. [The Pacifier]. Quite a dumb dumb show...but tat's the nice part of it. It's quite dumb.

After today, no more rest...it's gonna be outfields and more outfields...sianz!

Long-awaited offday...

Whew, finally after so long, I got a break! I'm given off on Monday and Wednesday. But of coz, after these 2 days of off, I can 4get bout having a break until May liao. Coz April lots of outfields, so haf to stay in camp for the last 2weeks of April, enjoying the jungle, mosquitoes, camou cream and toner!

Seriously, I hate outfield...not becoz of wat, but mostly becoz of the mosquitoes and the occasional sorching hot sun. For the mosquitoes part, it happens in every outfield. No matter where is the location of the outfield. The mosquitoes juz appear and fly ard, biting u, and most irritating...buzzing ard ur ears. No...insect repellents dun help at all, I got biten even wif the repellent on. And the bites dun disappear in a day, the itchiness and redness disappear onli in a wk.

And yeah, I went outfield yesterday, and got bitten all over as usual. Till nw still itchy, buay tahan. And it's onli for a day. Imagine 1 whole wk of outfield. I tink I will get swollen.

Yawnz, not enuff slp...yesterday outfield came back ard 2+, pack stores until 4.45a.m then slp...6.15a.m woke up again. 7a.m book out. 1st time go outfield until so late come back. More to come, sianz!

Stores, stores, stores...stop bothering me!

My workload in camp is increasing day by day. I really is busy until I got no time even to eat n drink. Sometimes I feel so thirsty, yet I dun even got some minutes to spare to haf a gd mouth of water. Everybody seems to think my name is easier to call, coz everyday I juz hear ppl calling "Eric!", "Eric!" frm far away, when I can't even c their face clearly. Sometimes I already tired n blur until I dunno which direction is the person at...lolx ~ I juz keep turning my head here n there, until they call again n I identify their location.

Dun say in camp, even now, at home, after booking-out. My fone will keep ringing n ringing. Ask me tis 1 where, tat 1 where. As if I'm god. Lolx ~ coz most of the things I oso dunno where.

Thx for listening to my grumble...but I still enjoy the few hrs of relaxation at home after a tiring day.

Oh yeah, I nearly died yesterday. Really. Yesterday went outfield in the jungle, and I was in the toner, and it was raining super heavily. On board the toner was a platoon of guyz. We were supposed to find a shelter for them and unload them. We juz kept turning n turning in the jungle, until we reached a dead end. By then, the toner was high up on a hill, like Genting Highlands, where there is a big "hole" down to the bottom of the hill rite in the middle. Anyway, we were at a dead end, and the toner got to reverse back. While it was reversing, we were nearing the point of the "hole". Suddenly, we felt the toner went 1 step down the "hole"...we quickly all shouted, "Oiii...stop!!" And luckily, the toner stopped. Coz juz 1 more second, the whole toner will "fly" down into the hole and we will die. Whew...close shave wif death...

Well, tat's all...time to log off and rest...

Here's poor me, sitting in front of my computer, waiting for the camp to call me, and str rush back to camp, within 2 hours. Stupid recall mobilisation excercise. Noone supposed to take MC, anyone whu's nt back will be considered AWOL! Wat the hell...plus tml's range, sianz ar!

Everyone seems to be going on a holiday. Astrid's in Japan nw, Socorro going Japan soon, and Charayu going Taiwan. Y am I still here? Nvm, I will be going Brunei in a few mths time oso. Lolx ~ Gd life ppl...

Yest I took Bus 72 and I dropped myself half-way thru the journey, and decided to take a walk home. Walked for bout 30mins. It's really a nice feeling walking in the nite, summore I walk tat area so ulu tat u c noone thruout. Abit eerie, but comfortable enuff. When I reached home, I was sweating, lolx ~ but it's great exercise oso.

Anyway, yesterday was a great day even though I got a big ulcer in my mouth. I'm happy, very happy...very very happy. Thank u ~

Oh yeah, F.I.R album gonna be out on 8th April, gonna buy it no matter wat. Saw the MV yesterday, and it's so cool man ~ and the song is so nice...wow ~ Vivian's new song oso not bad...wat [Hen Hen Ai], at least not tat kind act cute kind of song. Wahahaha ~
