A Recap for 2005...

It's gonna be the end of 2005 in 3 more days...time flies, and I hope it flies faster. Haha ~ so I can ORD soon...

Well, tis past 1 year, so many many things happened. Actually, learnt quite a few things from army. Although I hate to admit it. And tis 1 year was a big shopping spree for myself. Bought alot of shirts especially, and a new watch, and quite a few pairs or shorts. It's a way to find pleasure in life, and sort of de-stress from the everyday life.

Some big events of my life tis year:
Getting my driving license.
Events after events in army. From NDP to the recent Ops Bacinet.
Kena cheated.

Bought a few CDs tis year, tink is a record low figure...

Personally, I prefer Yuan Wei's album.



And it got the longest play-life in my playlist. And I regretted not buying Kelly Clarkson's album.

Not to mention movies. Watched a record high of movies tis year. Especially tis past few mths. Oh yeah, juz back from watching [A Chinese Tall Tale].



Quite a lame movie. But interesting dumb plot.

These are juz some small little stuffs tat happened in my life. I tried to recall some other big stuffs or events worth mentioning, but can't really remember much. Anyway, tis post is long enuff liao.

Serious Lack of Slp...and Sick

It's been 1 week of hell in Jurong Island. Actually my job quite simple lah, but juz tat haf to forgo my sleep and attend to everything. Everynite onli bout 3hrs of slp, which was always disturbed by people whu dun wanna slp.

Yesterday nite was the worst. I was so so so tired tat I thot I could fall aslp once I hit the bed. But I couldn't. Turning and tossing, hearing people chatting on fones, chit-chatting wif others, having pillow fights, on-n-off the lites. Till 1.30a.m, I can't stand it anymore and went down to the dining area to watch tv. Watch until 3a.m go pack breakfast.

Now, I'm sick too...and the lack of slp was juz a catalyst. Hope tonite can haf a good slp and take over the duties from Dixson again tml.

It's not fun when ppl work 12 hrs, slp 12 hrs, and work 12 hrs again and u haf to work for 24 hrs straight.

Kena woken up by Kim Poh when he called me at 6.30a.m...wtf...in the end try to settle his prob, and answering his calls till I can't slp.



Went to watch [Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch And The Wardrobe] yesterday. Interesting movie, onli tat it's like more for kids lah.

Alrite...back to Jurong Resort!

Experience in Jurong Island...

Yesterday was finally the start of POI at Jurong Island. A damn shag and messy day to add to it. Anyway, expected lah, 1st day mah, haf to settle in and stuffs. But not a bad location. I'm most amazed by the bunks. Coz got aircon! And real cooling 1...the bunks' building reminds me of chalets. Haha ~

Still, it's really very very out-of-place and ulu. Onli a bus to travel in and out of the "island".

Booked out yesterday evening after helping Dixson out in settling things in, and got offs tis 2 days. But haf to work Fri and Sat shift. Booking out on Sunday afternoon. Tis means tat I will be counting down to Christmas in Jurong Island. Cool bah ~ dun be jealous, ppl...haha ~

Went to collect my new contact lenses tis afternoon. Finally got to say bye-bye to my old lenses le. Been wearing it for 3yrs and 3mths even though I was told the maximum life was 2yrs. Tis shows how well I maintain it! Anyway, new contact lenses, of coz, more comfortable and clearer.

King Kong...

Went to watch [King Kong] wif JQ and SW yesterday. Quite a nice show...worth watching. Supposed to watch wif my camp-mates tis few days, but no "news" in the end...

Went to EC House to haf a haircut yesterday. Told the gal I wanted to juz trim abit shorter. She really juz trim abit. So I told her cut abit more, and she basically shaved my head, now I look like a recruit. Damn it...

Tml onwards will be staying-in, ready for POI. I tink I mentioned too much bout POI. Haha ~ but real sianz.

C when can come home then update again bah, I'm already looking forward to my off-day.

Contented Long Break...

Tis long break had been a long awaited 1, and I spent it wisely. Another 2 more days to end of break, and another big shit coming. But tis few days enuff for me le. Getting very slack liao.

Wednesday supposed to go Momo for Ladies' Nite, but Simon couldn't make it last minute. Haizz, haven got a chance to experience Ladies' Nite. Wahaha ~

Then went to meet Sherwin yest. Long time no c him le, so ask him out for dinner. And such a coincidence, we saw Serra. Oso quite long no c her le. Today went Bugis wif Yilong and our aim was to get shorts. In the end, we picked the same shorts and the same size sommore. Another coincidence.

And I saw someone I haven seen for even a longer period...Yian Han...she's still the same...but we no chance tok, juz "Eh! Hi...Bye..." Haha ~

POI starting on tues...till 3rd Jan. Work 1 day, off 1 day. So I got a chance of either having off on the eves of holiday or on the holiday itself. Or either on a Sat or Sun. Got A-Do concert on 23rd Dec, and a family Christmas Party on 24th Dec. I wanted and can onli choose 1 to go to at 1st. But in the end, I decided to give up both.

I shall be a loner during these festive seasons. I shall put my heart and soul into my duty.

Bye Bye LRI! Hello POI...

LRI ended today for my coy. Dixson was so tensed up tis morning as the time ticks to the check. I keep asking him to relax...but he juz can't. Anyway, everything went quite well for stores. Should be an 'A' grade, but coz we combine results wif Armskote, which got quite a few faults, so we might end up wif a 'B' overall. But well, it's relief! After weeks and weeks of working, it finally ended. Will know the result next Mon...

Next Tues will be the start of POI, have to be at Jurong Island for 2 weeks. But for me, is work 1 day, off 1 day, so quite ok. Onli thing is the location damn bloody far from home.

Tml I will be on off-day. Thurs n Fri coy Block-Leave. So I got a super duper long weekend. Will onli need to go back camp nxt Mon...Woohoo!

Where do King Kong come from?

Tat's the question my OC shot me with when I was in the office. Reason being with he's too bo liao and the radio was toking bout King Kong. Then the DJ was saying "King Kong is from the jungle!" But my OC beg to differ. He said..."King Kong's from my pants!" *Cold*

Slept alot than usual, rest alot than usual, slack alot than usual for tis weekend. Juz went bowling wif Yilong yesterday nite, and later mahjong whole day.

Nxt week Thurs and Fri block leave, and I taking whole day / half-day off on Wednesday. Finally can officially claim my off-day without having to see Dixson's reluctant face. Haha ~

The big day is finally here. Tml and Tues. LRI! Praying for the best...

Christmas Present from SAF?

It's finally payday...tis day of the month seems to be never-reaching for the past few months. It's like so near yet so far. Wait until my neck long liao...

I went to check on my electronic payslip juz now, and I scrolled all the way down to the final figure of my pay. I got a surprise. My rank allowance rose frm a pathetic $365 to a still pathetic, but better, $420. Then I scrolled back up to the top, my rank oso change liao. 2 levels up! Now a CPL rather than a PTE. Got rank on my uniform lo!

I was happy for awhile, and I remembered to check on my ORD date. There are ppl whu told me CPL add 2 mths, and there are oso ppl whu told me tis "serving 2 more mths" rule had been history. I was hoping I c the same ORD date. I was hoping to c the usual August'06. But well, I can onli find a date which said Oct'06.

Nvm...at least got abit more money to spend now.

10 more months...juz 10 more...

Time really flies, it's December...the festive season is here again! I'm gonna be in army for 16 mths soon, another 10 more months to go...

Nothing much happened tis 2 days...juz tat I bought a bag as a present for myself for being hardworking the past few weeks. Anyway, I bought it, but I didn't pay for it. Got a sponsorer. Haha ~ Another present was on the mahjong table. Won $37 on Sunday after 3.5 rounds. But ok lah, last week lost $30, now neutralize abit.

Payday oso coming! Finally...

Saw Felicia Chin at Far East Plaza tat day. Yilong spotted her 1st, but he wasn't sure if it's her. And since we nothing better to do, we followed behind, but she was walking damn bloody fast. Luckily, got 2 mad girls stopped her for pictures. She looks cute...even better than on TV I tink. And seems friendly enough to stop for a photo even though she was so obviously rushing.

Everyone had been working very hard for the past 1 week. Encik and S4 pushes Dixson to create the perfect dream store, and Dixson pushes us to help fulfil tis dream. Everyone's getting tired, everyone's getting stress. But no-one dares to grumble to Dixson, coz he's getting double of wat we are feeling. I always get to see his "blank" look everyday tis past 1 week. I tink he's getting tired and blur liao.

Juz back from watching [SAW II] wif JQ. Not a bad movie. And since he especially came down to Tampines to watch it, I shall thank him. "Thank you, JQ." Haha ~

S4 came today and did a pre-LRI check. Can c the happiness in Dixson's face when he praises him for the great job done. At least a sense of accomplishment for each and everyone of us. Juz hoping when LRI comes, we can get a good grade, or even better, best coy!

So much things happened tis few days...

Incident 1
Ah Wee tried to beat up a guy from another platoon. And I had to apologize on his behalf. Secretly. But still, Ah Wee saw us talking and tried to beat him up a second time. He thot tat guy is complaining to me...haha ~ Anyway, all ended well I guess.

Incident 2
Ruddy locked Dixson's computer by typing 2 wrong passwords in a row. Dixson was hopping mad, but not as mad as I imagined...maybe coz S4 juz praised him. Btw, he need the computer to do alot of other shit work. And it's urgent. Accompanied him down to CMPB to reset it juz now. Not bad, got to end my work early coz of tis.

Incident 3
Ah Wee and TF mentioned they are going for a gang-fight tonite. Hope they will end up safely in camp tonite/tml morning. Should I wish them good luck? Like not appropriate leh.

Haiz, tml going back to camp again...doing some touch-ups...

But the consolation is...it's December!
