I was introduced to tis girl group in 1999, but they disbanded within a year I started listening to them. Lolx ~ Wasn't a crazy fan of theirs, but their songs started me to listen to JPOP. Anyway, today marks the 6th year since they disbanded. 31st March 2000 was the day...

But anyway, the pic above was taken 2-3yrs back when they re-banded for some charity concert. And I remember tat time I happened to be in Japan, and there were some advertising for the concert, and I took quite abit of the flyers promoting their concert back. Now all lying in my drawer waiting to turn yellow, wahahaha ~ Maybe can sell...

Talk of the week...

I guess everyone's excited bout the Progress bonus that we will be receiving soon...and tis is the 1st time I feel great about being over 21! Haha ~ $700 for me...hmmm...gonna spend it wisely...

Yesterday went Coca Restaurant wif campmates for buffet lunch. All of us specially took offs juz for tis buffet. Not bad lah...luckily Jimmy knew the captain there and we got free desserts. After tat went Hougang play wif my nephews and niece. After tat took car and picked SW and his frend up, go play mahjong wif Serra. Won $19...but I didn't went home richer tis time. Coz treat everyone eat Macdonalds'. Haha ~

Found tat I'm always in luck whenever I play mahjong at Serra's hse. But most of the time I went hme neutral even though I won. It's always treat supper or spend the money on cab fare. But well, it doesn't really matter to me lah, it's for the fun anyway. For the gian-ness...mahjong is so addictive sometimes...

I tink nxt time if I wanna make it big, I should buy Serra's hse. Good fengshui for me...

My 1st R21 show...



Watched [Running Scared] today...my 1st R21 show! But not sexual kind of show lah...I tink it's R21 coz it shows kids shooting ard, not very nice as a teaching material for kids bah...*ahem*...I'm an adult u know.

Watched it wif BM0038 "classmates". JQ and SW. Too bad our only female member, Agnes, not there. After movie went to Balcony at Heerens for some relaxing time. Well, it's nice catching up wif them. We even planned to apply for air steward wif SIA, haha ~

Yesterday saw Shaun Chen Hongyu at my optician. He's tat guy whu wasn't chosen to continue his service when Mediacorp and Mediaworks merged. Michelle Chia's boyfriend. Quite a friendly guy, my mum even chatted wif him for awhile. I quite admire his ability to put down his status and go around promoting specs, like a salesman.

Weekend ending soon liao again...after 5 days of slacking, Monday going back to work lo...but Tuesday and Wednesday off again, so quite ok...haha ~

Whew, but luckily the range nxt Saturday and Sunday postpone to weekdays...or else muz burn weekend liao...haha ~

Oh yeah, went to watch [V for Vendetta] yesterday. Not a bad movie, although not as exciting as I thot it would be. Not much violence...but still enjoyed it somehow.

1st Day back at Work...

It's my 1st official day back at work. Abit boring, abit don't feel like climbing out of my bed at in the morning...

But well, quite relaxed lah...and the whole mood in the whole camp so different from before. Everyone seems to be smiling, there's juz tis happy mood in the air...It's juz so different. And I enjoy working in this kind of atmosphere ~

Our coy got to book out at 2p.m today since there's nothing on. And Dixson gave me offdays on Wednesday - Friday. So tml will be my last working day for the week. Song ~

End of OFF-IN-LIEU...

Haiz...happy times end fast. My 2 weeks of off-in-lieu is ending le. Going back to camp on Monday...but well, I tink I enjoyed myself to the limit lo. Spending everyday enjoying, enough is enough! Seriously, sometimes I feel that I slept even lesser during my off-days. Anyway, slping on ur offday is a waste of time, am I right or am I right?

Not bad, the "schedule" drawn up for tis 2 weeks, everything quite done. Except for some changes here n there. But most of it really happened. And I spent nearly my 1 mth's pay for the happiness. NO REGRETS!

I went for chalet, BBQ, cycling, KTV, 4 movies, shopping, mahjong, clubbing. I'm really satisfied liao.

Yawnz...It's RECOVERY DAY!

Enjoyed 1 nite of cool wind and babes @ East Coast Park on Tues. Well, tis was the 1st time I went to a chalet wif so little people but wif the longest BBQ time. Actually, found tat my Encik really can be lame and relaxed. Always see him in camp flare up, show temper, everyone oso scared. But he said he doing his job lah, bo bian. 7 of us, less people, more bonding.

Went for a mahjong session at Serra's hse wif SW yesterday nite. Playing juz to cure the gian-ness. Anyway, me and SW went back home richer. Haha ~

1 week more of off-in-lieu...

Ferline moved to Tampines lo ~ now her, me and Zynn are neighbours. And we stayed very near to each other too...did some catching-up wif her, she's still with Silkair...c when got chance meet up wif her for coffee...

Something suay happened to me yesterday. I washed down 1 side of my contact lenses down the pipe thru the basin. And it's juz 2 mths old! Costing $270 for 1 pair, which can last me for 2-years...now have to spend $100+ for the side tat went down the drain. Lucky thing was tat my optician sealed up my old lenses, for emergency use. Now it's the time to open up and use it.

Still spending like a rich kid...lolx ~ Went back camp on Friday to clear stores for the SGTs whu ORD on tat day itself. Seeing them flashing their PINK I/C in front of me, I felt nothing. Dunno why, wahaha...not abit jealous, summore still quite happy for them. I tink I really love army...

Went to KTV with the tribe today plus Dixson. Quite long no c them le, since the Zoo trip last November. Everyone's still quite lame. Even Jiayi starts to have an evil mouth. Anyway, we fixed to meet again on 15th April.

Tml going back camp again...coz the dumb painters dump our stores here n there, now all the stores are messy, things lying ard. And we got 4 stores!

Finally, I got a frend selling "C" brand (as seen on TV, Comp****) of solution for contact lenses. And he selling the "A" brand of contact lenses (popular brand, Acu***). He tell me help him ask c if anyone wan buy...got free gifts and stuffs. And he asked me not to mention brands and prices. So anyone interested, drop me a msg. Really quite a good bargain...

An Outside-Standing MOS Nite...



Finally went to MOS yesterday. Never got a chance to go previously until now. And it's my 1st time in Ladies' Nite. And god damn it, there are really damn lot of gals. And as it's a Wednesday, it's not tat crowded oso. No queue...and dance floor quite empty at the start.

Spent quite a while exploring the whole of MOS...quite a nice place. For the whole nite, we shuffled between the Main Arena Area (Retro Nite) and Smoove (R & B). But the Smoove area got crowded after midnite...and more guyz came in...so we shifted to Retro side. The Retro Nite is so much much better than Zouk's. At least I enjoyed their Retro Nite.

Today is Recovery Day...gonna rest n rest, tml morning need to go back camp early in the morning to work. Hope quick quick finish, quick quick go home.

Till now, everything still went according to plan...hmmm...and I'm still enjoying my holidays!

I'm always working towards my future family goals. I always hope to get married damn early. I always hope to have my own kids at a damn young age. Recently, some unhappy events sort of led me to get sick of having a partner. Everything's alrite now, but it's not gonna be the same again, and it's difficult to mend back the hole. I'm beginning to really love my single life to the extent like ppl chasing 5566 all over the place. The love for them, even if it's not bringing them any future.

I dun mean I want to be a monk. But maybe tis is not the time yet to get involved. I need time...oh yeah, and I'm STILL SINGLE!

P.S: U know who u r. Juz wanna apologize. I know u dun mean it, n u may not even realize it until I said it. Give me time...

I got a new goal. I'm gonna get a car. MY OWN CAR! I give myself a maximum of 2 yrs. 2 yrs may sound long, but I tink it will come soon. Anyway, I'm not blowing a balloon. I'm gonna get it!

It's Day 2 since I'm back, but I'm still feeling very tired. Old liao...

Seriously, I miss abit, juz abit of Thailand sumhow. Especially the nite sky in Thailand. Beauty...Stars-filled sky...hmmm...

I got until 20th March until I go back to camp. But got some plans going on.

Battalion Anniversary Cohesion at Pasir Ris Park. Evening meet Sherwin.

8th March
MOS wif campmates. Ladies' Nite!

10th March
Back to camp clear stores for Specialists who are going to ORD.

13th March
Prepare for Ubin stay. Buy BBQ stuffs.

14th March
Head for Ubin wif campmates and Encik. Staying over 1 nite.

15th March
Noon checkout frm chalet at Ubin, at nite go MOS wif Encik and campmates. Ladies' Nite Part 2.

17th March
Buffet Lunch at Coca Restaurant, followed by Kbox marathon in the evening.

20th March
Back to camp at 7am.

But I wonder how many of the above activities will happen smoothly. And I wonder how many will be cancelled...hahaha ~ Shall know very soon...I'm very sure not all will happen 1 lah. Juz hope not ALL cancel can liao.

Our battalion's ORD dinner function will be held on 18th May at Marriot Hotel. $100/pax. Damn expensive. And they ORD oso dun haf my share. But I guess bo bian, juz go n c everyone happy happy shouting ORD bah.

It's mahjong nite! Going play mahjong lo! Hands itchy...

Whew! Finally back from Thailand. Like wat WS said..."1 mth there is not a joking matter!" Really quite sianz, but a real good experience.

In the end, I didn't participate in ATEC. And to tink tat I went thru all the shitty outfield to prepare for ATEC. Anyway, didn't participate in ATEC coz got foot rot. So Ruddy got the priviledge to go in place for me. We got Redcon 2A! And our CO said tat tis is the best result in 10 years...wow ~ and our coy sort of is the best coy, again...bo bian, garang ranger OC, garang commando Encik, garang riflemen.

Oh yeah, and I did came home wif damn lot of fake goods. The onli REAL thing is another pair of Converse shoes I bought last minute. My 3rd pair of Converse shoes in the shoe rack. Bo bian, want to buy Adidas or Nike or some other brands all dun haf. Like wat Jimmy said: "There's not even a Adidee in the big shopping centre."

Alrite, it's really great to be home after a month! And I got 2 weeks off! Woohoo!!
