Back to a Slacker's Life...
Haven't been working for 2 weeks liao. Getting slack...but well, quite a good break. Coz been working hard for the past 1 month...no choice, the past 1 month was the "peak" period that comes once every 4 years. So muz grab the opportunity!
Although I'm not working, I'm still back in camp pretty often nowadays. I also dunno why lah...like this week, Monday COS duty, Tuesday in camp do spring cleaning, Friday (today) SAF Day parade, Saturday (tml) COS duty. Next week onwards Tues and Fri morning need to be back in camp for AHM training. And after tml duty, I proud to announce that I dun have much duties left coz new SGTs came in liao. They can do most of the job.
Oh, other than being back in camp often, I also dunno why nowadays I ended up in KCOM office frequently also. But KCOM office really nice to slack...haha ~

Before and After...
Today, I juz felt like blabbering about my life.
Here goes...
Since young, I was a total introvert and some sort of pessimist. Shy and quiet. Yeah, that's me. Even when I went into Secondary School, I still remained that way. I kept a low profile in everything I'm involved. I seriously hate mixing around.
My turning point in life started at iDA. After I met the gang. Well, I dun tink they knew bout it, but it's them who started my craps. Haha ~ I started to grow noisy and talk as if I tried to finish all the conversations I missed in the past. Then I went into Poly and got to know chatty Elaine and Ah Beng Sherwin. That's when I started to be aware of myself for the 1st time. Weird kind of feeling. And of coz, my crapping ability went up by a level. It went up another level after I met SD.
Then I went into NS. At 1st, it was real bad. Then somehow, everything turned out well, and to this point, I'm no longer a pessimist. And I'm a total optimist. I no longer think of the worst, I no longer feel that I'm a worrywart. Now, I find that I feel relaxed and carefree in everything I do...I'm even prepared to face challenges. Plus, I'm even working as a sales promoter now...something which I would not even think of doing in the past.
I dunno what really changed me, but it juz happened, like tat. I guess it's a change for the better...and I'm definitely glad of it ~ 1 must not be greedy, and I must say I'm satisfied with my life now. It can be better, but these takes time.
Btw, I still belong to the introvert group. But like I told someone before, I'm the extrovert in the group of introverts ~
Will there be a day when I become the extrovert in the group of extroverts?

Rest & Relax
Met up with Shihui and Jing-ni, the 2 Ah-Lians, yesterday for dinner at "Asian Kitchen". Was late and juz in time to be seated. Thanks to them for queueing up. Chilled out at "Coffee & Toast" after dinner. Thanks them again...for making me laugh thruout the nite with their lame jokes...
Went shopping with Yilong today. It's been a long time since I bought anything for myself. And managed to bring home 2 T-shirts. This is what I call happiness and satisfaction!
Met up with Eileen after tat. ZX supposed to join us, but he abandoned us at the last minute. Anyway, we still met up for dinner. It's "Asian Kitchen" again. But ate different stuffs, so quite ok. Eileen ordered this fried ice-cream...
Abit oily for a dessert...but quite amazed coz never eat before. Thanks to her for the dinner treat.
Went to watch [Just My Luck] after dinner. Not really a fantastic show, but I wouldn't say it's that bad either. Plus got Eileen to entertain me at times during the movie. It's worth it.
Pure enjoyment...juz love this kind of life.

MLM and Sales...
Guess lots of people heard of MLM bah...it's always created having an image of "earning quick bucks". To me, it's just another form of sales.
Recently, I'm "haunted" by 2 friends who do MLM. Although I've expressed no interest in joining them or whatsoever, they still call me every few days to ask me when I'm free. "Juz listen, no harm!", "Who will say no to more money?" These were what I've been told over and over again. But I'm still not interested.
Seriously, I dislike sales jobs. I think I'm not really cut out for sales job. Then why am I doing sales now? Actually I also dunno leh. At first, it's because of the working flexibility. Then I thought since I dun think I am cut out for sales, might as well treat it as some sort of a challenge, and to see what can come out from it. I thought I won't stay long in KCOM, but well, so fast, 2 months had passed, and I'm still here!
Ok, I have to admit I quite enjoy working for KCOM now...even though it's sales. But I think it's mostly coz of the people I work with. And I have to admit that I learnt quite abit this 2 months.
This is KCOM. Comfortable little office...
In conclusion, I think that there are many different kind of sales out there. Different way of selling, way of presentation, hierachy. Not every kind is that bad. And although I dislike sales job, I'm still rather comfortable in what I'm doing now...

Life had been good...and relaxing.
Back in camp on Thursday.
Everyone's gone...the once lively coy line is now declared a ghost town.
My favourite past time recently when not working or in camp...
It's been a long time since I sleep late often. I used to knock out after work or camp. But nowadays, play mahjong, slp late, eat supper...everything n everything. My dad brought us to eat prata at 2am that day. I dun even know tis 24hrs prata shop exist right near my hse.
Then yesterday dropped by office to buy Eileen lunch before meeting JQ and SW for movie. She showed me something confidential. Our after comments she wrote on our interview paper.
Abit blur, but she wrote me as "Friendly, decent"...hahaha ~ She said she had 2nd thoughts about it now. But I thought it described me quite the way I am...lolx! Joking...
Alrite, time for mahjong again...

World Cup Fever? Nah...Mahjong Fever!
Haven't been working for 2 days already. It's like ages since I got to slack like tat. And I'm not used to it suddenly. Feeling weird, like uncomfortable with nothing to do. Luckily, I got mahjong to accompany me. Played till 3.30a.m yesterday. Ok, I lost...but at least it's something...
Monday was ORD parade. Rehearsed under the hot sun from 10a.m to 5p.m. Coz we were wearing beret, so u can see everyone having 2 colours on their forehead now. Haha ~ But well, at least after rehearsing for so many days, the parade's quite a success. Although I can't feel my ORD during the parade.
My mum came back from her Taiwan holiday yesterday. And she proudly announced that she brought back 4 gossip magazines from Taiwan (recommended by the salesgirl). I told her the magazines looked like porn magazine. Coz the covers showed ladies "flashing" here n there. In the end, she took out the magazines from the wrappers and started to read thru...and the doubts were confirmed. I never see the magazines again for the rest of the night.

Hardworking Week...
Been a damn tiring week. But it's coming to an end! After monday nite, should be able to relax liao...but quite enjoy the time at work. It's been a great start of a month...closed 20 sales within a week. Thanks to typical S'poreans who likes to sign up at the very last min for World Cup...

We did a roadshow together with Cherry Mobile at Hougang Point. Tis nice girl, Elaine, helped us whenever we were busy. Tat's her helping us again at our booth. I like her uniform more...

Shag...
Tuesday did COS, and didn't get to slp at nite coz the ppl came back frm outfield in the middle of the nite, had to let them draw keys for tis n tat. Then Wednesday went to work with a headache from the previous nite. But I really got sleeply onli after lunch, juz feel damn like slping. Haha ~ Even when standing up...
Anyway, after 2 long days from duty and work, I went back camp today again for a parade rehearsal which is none of my business again. ORD parade. I was chosen just to make up for the size of ppl left. It's supposed to be a grand event with parents and frends attending, but the thing is not many ppl will be in the parade coz most of them ORD liao.
So...even though I ORD onli in October, I need to be involved also. And it's been ages n ages since I participate in a parade...quite interesting but tiring. Tml still 1 full day of rehearsal...Monday quick quick come, get the whole actual ceremony over and done with.
My cousin got married last Sunday. Was introduced to some of the distant relatives I've never seen b4, or those who looked familiar. And saw 1 of my old colleague cum frend from iDA. Grace...it's a miracle tat she still remembers me, and she said I grew taller! Haha ~ she's still quite the same.
My mum flew off to Taiwan for holiday today. Back onli on Tuesday. It's havoc time at home!

Powerful Week...
This week got to work at 2 bigger roadshows. Like Mr. O described, "Medium Roadshow" and "BIG Roadshow". Different kind of experience...got booth...rather than juz a table and chair. Got to close quite a few sales more than usual. Thanks to the bigger scale roadshows bah.
Today worked at Harbour Front. Not a bad place, other than some crowd, also got to see beach babes walking ard. Even though not much great ones, but better than nothing. Of course, great to see Eileen again after 1 whole week of her disappearing. Wahaha ~
Got to c KC again yesterday. He's back frm Taiwan coz of his passport thing I tink. Good life ppl, enjoying army life in Taiwan. Met him and Sherwin for dinner. Still as carefree as I remembered him to be. Haha ~

Start of a new month...
It's finally June...half a year going to be over in another blink.
Feeling tired tis week. I oso dunno why...but still enjoying work somehow. It's a miracle that I dun feel tat sianz about working after 1.5 months. Still get the excitment when feeling up invoice and closing a sales...
I'm waiting for my pay at the end of tis month...
Sales figure restarted. 14 more sales to go! Wahaha ~
