I miss Japan. It's been 3 years since I went there...how time flies ~ I dun think anyone of us changed much. Except for SW's hair. Haha ~

Back...

I'm back from holiday!

3 days 2 nights in Genting was quite lifeless.

We were practically spending all our time inside the casino. "Big Small", "Casino War", "3 Pictures", "Money Wheel", "Jackpot". Anyway, most of our time spent in casino was walking ard, seeing other people play. Coz we didn't bring much cash...and we lost quite abit at the start of the 2nd day liao. I did win alot on 2nd day afternoon, but it was all gone at night.

It's no joke playing in the casino. Really is 10 bet, 9 lose. Seeing people losing thousands at a time...heart also bleed for them.

Ok, other than casino, we did went bowling. Wanted to go to the theme park, but thot 3 big guys go play, like abit overgrown. Wanted to go arcade, but seeing alot of kids inside, we also gave it a miss.

Alright...spent 3 days there squeezing my brain in the casino is more than enough. Mentally tired. Me and Weijian agreed that next time 2 days 1 night is enough.

Lastly, I annouced that all 3 of us came back broke.

Holiday

Woohoo ~ I'll be off to Genting Highlands tomorrow morning for holiday. Going with my campmates, Ah Lai and Weijian.

Will be back on Tuesday evening.

Driving and driving...

Yesterday was the day I drove the most ever since I got my license.

• Started with Tampines @ 1.30p.m (My home) to Bedok (Pick up my aunt).

• Then to Hougang (dropping my parents and my aunt at my uncle's for mahjong).

• Then to Ang Mo Kio (pick up JQ).

• Then to Bishan (Still early, go walk walk with JQ).

• Then to Seletar Camp (pick up SW from camp).

• Then back to Hougang (SW went back home to change).

• Then to Holland Village (the terror, coz peak hour, heavy traffic, plus we dunno the way, anyhow drive, anyhow reach).

---Break for Dinner and chill out at Wala Wala---

SW took the wheels and drove to Thomson after chilling.
Dropped him and JQ for their 2nd round of the nite while I drove back to pick up my parents from my uncle's.

• So...I continued my journey...to Hougang. (pick up my parents)

• Then back to Tampines.

Home sweet home @ 1.15a.m.

Lost the feeling of driving during the last part of the journey. It's like stop, go, clutch in, accelerator, brake...already numb to the procedure.

But I muz admit it's really convenient when you got a car to go around in.

Reunite...

Met up with the tribe for dinner today. And thanks to them, I declare the addition of 1 more Jay's album on my CD rack. Till date, I got 4 Jay's album, all but 1 were contributed by them. The other 1 CD was given to me by my sis.




Count and count...it's been like dunno how many years since I last took a neoprint. Felt abit funny coz like overgrown for this kind of thing liao. But with them, nothing's impossible. We might still be taking neoprints at the age of 40.

Started my job-seeking today. Not much luck from the newspaper and online job search. Anyone got jobs to intro?

Hate-list...

After working for KCOM for a few months, I found that there are actually a few types of people whom "amused" me.

Type 1
Uncles, sometimes aunties, who dunno what you are selling. They will stand in front of the posters for a long time holding a cigarette. I usually dun entertain them, but they will stand there till I finally have no choice but to talk to them. And they will ask me, "What is this?" Then I will say "Cable TV and Maxonline". Then they will usually ask back "What is Cable TV and Maxonline?" They will only leave when they feel like it.

Type 2
Late 20s or early 30s people. They too will stand in front of the posters for a long time. Sometimes they even pace up and down. But the moment I stand up, they will walk off. Irritating...

Type 3
The little young primary school kids. They are not irriating...in fact they are cute. They will stand in front of the Maxonline poster and point to the modem and router, showing off to their friends that they use it at home and know what it is. I will only start to avoid them when they start to involve me in their conversation.

"Kor kor, this 1 is modem hor."
"Kor kor, this 1 my house oso have."

What do u want me to reply then? Luckily, they dun appear tat often.

Type 4
Typical S'poreans households. Normally this grp of people will come str, and ask what promotions we have for Cable TV. I will usually ask them if they are existing subscribers. Coz we dun do re-contract for Cable TV.

When they reply
"Yes, I'm an existing."

I will reply
"Oh...there are currently no promotions for existing customers."

Then they ask
"Let's say, WHAT IF I'm not an existing, what promotions u all have?"

Then I will spend alot of time explaining to them, answering their questions without any hope of earning money from them. Then they will leave hitting their chest coz they can't get the promotions they want. That's typical S'poreans...they know they can't get the free gifts and everything in the 1st place, but they WANT to know what others will get. In the end, they dun feel good.

Late Nights...


Went to watch Westlife concert on Friday. It's been a long time since I watched a concert with such a good and young crowd. And it's my 1st time watching a concert with so many ang-mohs. Ok, it's my 1st English kind of concert anyway. I dun really listen to their songs, but I enjoy the atmosphere and their performance somehow. And I nearly got deaf. Not by the music, but by the screaming gals...


Found this old pic in my old fone. To keep long story short, that's our NYP canteen, with a guest while we were doing project, a rat! And that's my 2 dear classmates, Di*** and Eu****, jumping on the chair and screaming. I will always remember that scene...

Stand...and stand...

My legs are breaking. After 4 days of standing at COMEX, this week's Starhub roadshow's at HarbourFront. Big roadshow with no chairs. So I've been standing for 10hrs a day for 6 consecutive days lo. My legs need some massaging.

When I saw the Starhub people at COMEX wearing the black and green t-shirts, I thot it's their special uniform for the fair...and I was laughing my arse off in my heart, coz it's damn ugly. And thinking that luckily I dun have to wear that.

But guess what...it's the new uniform for Starhub.

Yucks.

Laserjets...

3 days at COMEX selling HP laserjet printers. 1 more day to go.

Tiring...leg pain. But for the money, it's worth it!

Good thing is that at least learn some new things. Now u tell me about toner, DPI, PPM, image drum, difference between competitors and HP, I will know...haha ~
