Finally...
I've finally found a job!
My employer: DHL
My position: Coordinator I (Grade A) - Airfreight/Customer Service Export
Actually, it simply means Customer Service Coordinator lah. Went for 2 rounds of interviews for the past 2 weeks. And went down to sign the letter of appointment today.
Boring job maybe...but no choice liao, have to take what's offered for the time being liao. Or else I will be damn broke and slack.
And something to "beautify" my resume next time. Haha ~
Starting work on 1st Nov, Thursday. Wonder how it's like...

Not my kind of life...
Went Zouk on Friday. NUS Business Bash...went to show support for Derek, coz he's part of the organizing committee.
It's an all-guys night again. Went with 4 other guys...and the crowd oso mostly guys. Where are the girls...
Anyway, was quite bored after awhile...coz got real crowded and music like shit. In the end, left at 2.15am, and went to eat the worst prata I ever had.
I think I'm really getting old. Club 1 night, and I still feel the shag-ness after 2 days.
Next time, give me something less energy-consuming.

Bye...
My maid of 4 years left for home today. She's the 1st maid who's younger than me, and the only 1 who clicked with us. From her 1st day, calling me
"Sir...excuse me."
to "Eric...you want breakfast?"
to "Eric!! Tell you how many times dun buy T-shirt already, no place put u know! Aiyoz!"
I think she shouted at me more than my mum did. Hahaha ~ Irritating, loud, and kiddish.
And I just found out today that she came to work as a maid not coz of money, but for the fun of it and coz she doesn't want to further her studies as planned by her family. As expected, she cried at the airport today.
My new maid, 25 years old, married with a daughter, and damn quiet.

Freedom...
Finally, it's my turn!
Nearly can't get back my I/C today coz that lazy chief clerk was on MC. And he's the only one with the key to the cupboard where out I/Cs are kept. Pressured him to come back...and we waited from 8a.m to 4.30p.m for that 5mins process of collecting our I/C. 8.5hrs of slacking in the camp 1 last time...more than enough. Hahaha ~
But the feeling's juz great...woohoo!

Art...
Ben brought me to this function and exhibition yesterday. At Little India. Coz his frend was presenting his works inside.
[Rojak] is a series of parties to celebrate and share local independent works.
Be it Art. Archi. Words. Music. Fashion. Food. Film. Anything Creative!
The purpose is to share your creative ideas with fellow Local Creators.
Thereby, learning from others, garnering feedback, and possibly collaborations.
Saw quite a few presentations. Saw alot of different pictures and listening to interesting philosophies. My 1st time...haha ~ felt so deep after listening.
It's really an eye-opener.

5 more days...
Went for 2 more interviews today.
The 1st one was at Clarke Quay, Beacon Consulting. Nice place. Was given a 1-hour test on Micrsoft Word and Powerpoint. Required us to do header and footer that kind of thing. There were 2 other ladies there going thru the test with me, and I kept checking how they were progressing throughout. Hahaha ~ I'm in such a position that I can see what they are doing, but they can't see what I'm doing. 1 of them was panicking thruout. So funny ~
The person found an error. Hope she don't mind that little error. People do make mistakes you know. Haha ~ Anyway, the job is Admin Executive. Boring job, but I think quite slack, plus company quite nice environment. Not easy to get it though. The person said there will be a few more rounds of the same thing for others, and they will only confirm the shortlisted people on Tuesday. So many people fighting for such a boring job...for what sia...hahaha ~
The 2nd one was at Tampines Interchange. Sitel Singapore. Marketing Support position. But then everyday 9-6 sit at table make phone calls, selling their $25,000 software. Still got sales target. Not easy. I got until Monday to give them an answer, but then I think I will give it up.
Nice jobs really so hard to find meh...

Latest Birthday Present...
My birthday's over for more than 2 months liao...but I'm still open to receiving presents. And I got my latest and probably the last today. [Yin Yang Master 2] DVD! Been looking for this VCD/DVD for a long long long time liao, but it's not on sale in Singapore.
Thanks to Perrie for buying me a copy online! She bought it long ago, but nv got a chance to meet up, so she finally mailed it to me. She also bought a copy for herself.
Btw, the reason why I'm into this movie is that my dear Eriko Imai starred in it.
And btw again, Perrie and I were born on the same day, same year.
So darn happy when I saw it. Her present is still with me though. Muz find a time to send it out too liao...

9 more days...
Finally finished with all my pre-ORD stuffs, like clearance form and FFI. Now, I shall juz wait for the day to come, to collect my pink I/C...
Was reading my archives, and was suddenly fascinated by how much I changed. Everytime I read my archives, I feel the same dumbness in my posts. It's like written by a stranger. Lolx ~ But this time round, I was mainly reading on my army life. How I grumble almost in every post about army and booking-in to how I sort of start to like my camp and the people. I won't say that I love army now, but I dun hate it very much either. I think it's juz the getting-used-to-the-life part bah.
ORD...wait for so long liao. Finally saying bye bye to army. 9 more days to go. Song ~

Shop Around...
Went window shopping at Orchard with Eileen and Mr. O before going work. 1st time. Found that Mr. O is really a damn funny guy. Hahaha ~
Went for 2 interviews on Thursday. The 1st one was at Jurong Fishery Port. Well, they provided me with quite a good deal, and a vehicle, but then it was damn smelly. I came out with a fishy smell, and I was supposed to go for my 2nd interview.
Luckily, the 2nd interview was juz behind KCOM office, and juz nice Eileen was in the office. So I called her for help str after I stepped out of the fish port. Went down to the office and she lent me her perfume, not very girlish, luckily. She said she use it to spray her handbag. Hahaha ~ So thanks to her, I went to my 2nd interview smelling nicer.
But in the end, I oso never step into their interview room. Coz this co. was under this big group called [Cobra], and I was offered a job in there many months back during a roadshow by a customer. Dun like their environment. Like some cult. Hahaha ~
So there goes my 2 interviews. Looking for a job is really not easy...

Eriko Imai (Elly)'s 1st self-produced album.
I thought it's gonna be a boring album, with all the slow jazzy songs.
But it turned out to be damn nice after listening to some of the tracks. Made me gian gian want buy. Hahaha ~
But it's released under some indie label, so it's not gonna be easy to get it from local stores. Haiz...have to get it online lo...
