Working through the Weekend

I suddenly felt so garang. I actually went back office to work for half-a-day on Saturday.

Anyway, here's how my office looks like...

And after working on Saturday...I actually saved my work and brought it back home. Working on Saturday night and the whole of my Sunday. Suddenly asking myself...why am I doing all these?

Super duper no life!

When More becomes MORER....

I know there's no such word as Morer...haha ~ I just feel like using this word.

The person doing airfreight shipment was transferred to one of our big client's office today...handling their shipments from there. Sort of like a co-ordination center between us and the client.

So...her job is passed to me. The whole company's airfreight shipments. I told my boss, S, at this rate I'm going, I think I'm gonna bring my pillow to the office. Haha ~

I'm officially now a Vendor Managment officer, Customer Service Officer and Operations Assistant. I attend sales meeting with vendors and clients, air shipment bookings, sourcing of vendors, filing of rates, billing, proposals, process flows, costings for my colleagues, permit declarations and checking on colleagues billing and costing after they close the jobs.

I asked S if I will have a great increment coz I'm working so hard. Hahaha ~

It's been a tiring week, everyday work till at least 8p.m. By the time I'm home, I can only find the energy to hit the bed and snore for the night...

I'm tired, and I need a life....

It's just all so contradicting...

After 2 months in J.Martens...

I got more responsibilities...and I was given an opportunity to build up my career path. Like what S said, "Chances doesn't come easy, you must always grab it before it go past you".

I'm really surprised and glad I'm given a chance to be this selected person.

Seriously, I don't love my job that much. I even thought of leaving since Day 1. Hahaha ~ But kept telling myself that I'm given an opportunity, and I wouldn't want to let it go.

It's tiring...and I wonder how long I can go...

My Boss...

Let's talk about my psycho boss today. I shall name him "S" for self-protection sake.

1. He likes to call me during out of office hour to ask me where am I.
2. He likes to talk to me about his life, career, achievements, love.
3. He likes to talk about this particular gay friend who likes him.
4. He likes to stand behind me quietly to see what I'm doing.
5. There was once I went back to office on a Saturday to finish my job, and he came too. Sat beside me throughout, chatting with me...till I can't concentrate, in the end I left without finishing my work.
6. He likes to call me into his office for no apparent reason.
7. Recently, he wants to know my friends and family, saying that friends n family play a big part in progressing in work...so he must know them to see how far I can go.
8. He kept wanting to drag me to church, even though I stressed alot of times that I got my own religion and I have no desire to go.

I dunno how long I can tahan his nonsense...

祝我生日快乐...

I had a rather slack 23rd birthday. Weird thing...not much feeling for the birthday...juz another normal day...

Had a mini surprise birthday celebration in the office on Friday. I got a book "Your Road Map to Success" from my boss. Retribution? Must be TTT cursing me. Irene also gave me a good luck key chain which she is selling for $28.

Had dinner yesterday at "Giraffe"...1st time there, nice place, nice ambient, nice food. Got an Adidas jacket that I've been eyeing since it's on the shelf and real nice self-made box as presents from the gang.

As for today, went for International Buffet lunch and eat like there's no tomorrow.

End of Birthday in 2 hours...no more life of a King...
