2008...
The new year is coming...but in retrospect, I can't remember anything happening that has taken place in my life for 2007.
Let's see...
1) I left DHL for yet another freight forwarding company, J.Martens. I went thru hell with S as my boss, and the forever heated politics in the management.
2) I took up a degree course with JQ, which I am not really planning in the near future in the 1st place.
3) I quit clubbing, totally.
Well, that's the only 3 things I can remember that happen in 2007. Overall, I'm still happy with what has happened in 2007, with a career path laid out somehow, although I really hate this company. It's a boring life during the upper half of the year, and it's busy busy busy during the 2nd half; work, study, work, study...
As for 2008...I wish that...
1) I will stable down in J.Martens, clear of what I'm gonna do, and a greater working environment with my new boss.
2) I can graduate successfully from school.
I seriously dun have much wishes...if the above 2 can be fulfilled, I'm more than happy liao...
Anyway, hereby wish everyone a Happy New Year and a great year ahead!
P.S: After reading what I've typed, I really think my life is a damn boring one...hahahaha ~

Mrs. Santa Claus
Not everybody is having a merry Christmas. Here’s a list of reasons WHY MRS. CLAUS IS BUAY SONG:
1. You work out everyday at the Health Club with your personal trainer, but every bleddy cartoonist keeps drawing you as a fat auntie.
2. He can remember whether billions of individual kids were naughty or nice, but cannot remember to replace the toilet paper after he runs out.
3. That stupid Rudolph’s nose glows so bright, the neighbours think we’re running a red light district.
4. That kaypoh Angelina Jolie keeps wanting to adopt some of my elves.
5. Stubborn old man refuses to outsource his deliveries to DHL. 1800 over years old oreddy, how long can he tahan?
6. Every year is the same old thing: work overtime for twelve days, then rest of the year, lepak, drink beer, eat keropok, watch football.
7. Every year, he collects donno how many thousand frequent flier miles on his business trips, but will he spare a few to take me to Bali for a beach holiday? You think?
8. He wanted to hire some new elves this year. I told him to hire that Legolas from Lord of the Rings, but instead he went to hire that Dobby from Harry Potter.
9. I can’t understand why he doesn’t want to en bloc this stupid workshop in the middle of nowhere. People want to give you money, take lah!
10. I told him, this is after 9/11. A bearded man flying into US airspace sure kena intercepted. But would he listen? Nooo. Now I have to bail him out of Guantanamo.
11. Santa’s stomach isn’t the only thing that’s soft like jelly.
12. He keeps wanting to do it ‘reindeer-style’.

Christmas!
I'm not a Christmas person...just that I like the fact it's a public holiday. Hahaha ~
It's Christmas Eve, and I'm on leave...but my phone started to ring non-stop from 8am...well...I kinda expected that, but not so early. Hahaha ~ there goes my rest...
Anyway, wishing everyone a Merry Christmas...!

2nd Chance...
Okok, I have no determination at all. I took back my resignation letter today.
I gave them a few conditions before I agreed to stay of course...very simple things...like a clear view of what I'm supposed to do from today onwards and stuffs.
But the main reason why I stayed is coz of the new manager who's supposed to join J.Martens in Feb. He's the one who's going to set up the airfreight centre in Changi Airport for J.Martens.
Had a chit chat with him yesterday, and he's a guy whom I did not expect him to be. Gentle, soft-hearted, kind-natured guy. Saw his sincerity, and he seems to me to be that kind who remains neutral and not political-driven. I dun believe he will stay this way with the whole management consisting of assholes though. But before mutation takes place, it will give me enough time to have an experience to set up the new airfreight centre, and it's an experience that I can't find elsewhere.
So I've decided to give it another go...another few months...and see how things go...

The Aftermath...
It's been 9 days since I handed in my resignation.
S is still not accepting my resignation letter, and wanted to return to me. But that asshole actually drew cartoons on it! He asked me to take a long break and come back to work totally under him, which of course, I rejected totally.
Sales asked me if I wanted to go over, and my MD asked me if I want to help set up the airfreight centre in Changi, planned in Feb.
I really dunno...I just want to leave that shit company!

Back to Square One...
I tendered my resignation yesterday.
I scared S, I scared Irene, I scared everybody. Hahaha ~ S is still not accepting my resignation, but I dun really care...
Everyone tried to talk me out of it, even my MD spoke to me today. He gave me another option, another new career path opportunity...but I rejected him. He asked me to think about it over the weekend.
I really dunno...I'm quite disappointed in this company till there's nothing left in there for me to miss.
Well, I guess I can only shout "freedom from hell!" when I step out of that office totally on my last day of work...
Should I? Shouldn't I?
I have to be firm, I have to be firm...FIRM!
