2010

My 2010 is gonna be a year with "big productions" like what Jason said. Lots of big money spending coming right up...

Come April, I will be heading to the place I've always wanted to go...Japan! Will be visiting Tokyo for a week. It's been like 7 years since I last step foot in Japan. Always wanted to visit that place again...

Come July, I will be heading to Hong Kong! Never been to HK before, but it's on my list of "must visit" in the near future.

Another project on my list this year is Lasik. Went to do a pre-assessment this morning. I'm still blur from the dilation of the pupils, and typing this with my eyes closely stitched to the screen. Was told my cornea passed the test, but my retina seems abit thin. So made an appointment to visit the retina specialist on Friday. If everything's fine, I'll be booking my Lasik surgery on the next available schedule. If not, then I guess it's retina strengthening surgery 1st, then Lasik.

Any how, it's just gonna be an exciting 2010!

If I can have...

My boss ask us to send her our suggestions of how to make our work more pleasant and improve efficiency. We are supposed to start with "If I can have...". Of coz, I have to fill in work-related stuffs like, "If I can have greater exposure to blah blah blah".

If I have my way, I'll surely filled it this way:

1. "If I can have a higher pay, I will surely work even harder for 2010."
2. "If I can have a better & faster laptop, I can improve my efficiency, instead of spending useless time waiting for a program to load." (I actually wrote this in, but I deleted it in the end.)
3. "If I can have my way, I shouldn't be wasting my time filling in this because I know what I write won't come true anyway. This is killing my efficiency.

And guess what, we are having a company new year party in our auditorium tomorrow. And I saw the email which was supposed to be sent only internally for the organizers....the cost & budget of this party is S$15k!!

I guess the big shots who approved this budget didn't know that $15k can actually pay at least 10 people working on the manufacturing floor.

A new decade.

Yesterday, I broke my partying curse. I haven't clubbed & party in years, and I went Sentosa Siloso Beach Party yesterday for the countdown. I regretted after agreeing to go. I didn't want to squeeze with people, I didn't want to stay out till the wee morning, shag and no transport to go home. The past few years of Christmas & New Year countdown were done in a comfortable way. Chilling, friends with cars & away from the crowds.

But...I enjoyed so much yesterday that I didn't want to go home. Haha.

The music sucks, but the crowd was somehow great. Squeezing in the crowd, with the smelly and stale air, but it's juz fun. I nearly grasp for air at times, but I think I'm lucky to have some girls who are shorter around me, so I have more fresh air. Hahaha.

I reached home at 5am in the morning, and I can't remember when was the last time I stayed out so late.
