Back to Reality...
Back from Japan about 20hrs ago.
I missed Japan already...I miss the nice people, I miss the nice toilets they have, I miss the great service level, I miss their politeness in standing on the left when on an escalator, I miss their messy yet superb subways, I miss their free tissues, I miss their vending machines, I miss the cooling weather.
Day 1 ~ Ueno Park, Harajuku, ShinjukuTouched down at Narita Airport at 7am. In order to save money, we decided to take the normal commuter train instead of the Narita Express rail. It took us 2hrs of travel, and with the morning squeezy crowd.

Stopped at Ueno Park to take a look at the cherry blossoms before they disappear.

It's spectacular...and it's crowded with people having picnics. And it's freezing cold...no joke!
We then went to Harajuku for a walk before check-in.

The very very busy street...packed with teenagers. There's supposed to be Cosplay actions on a Sunday, but we didn't see any.
Checked in, rest and went to walk around Shinjuku for the night. The end.
Day 2 ~ Tsukiji Fish Market, OdaibaWoke up early to visit the Tsukiji Fish Market. I went there when I was in Tokyo 7 years ago, and was amazed at their variety of fish. But this time round, we reached abit late and most stalls were already packing up.

Next...Odaiba...a man-made town. Didn't visit this place the last time I came, and there were so much raves about this place. And really, a must-visit place!

Italian themed shopping mall in Odaiba - Venus Fort

Statue of Liberty in Odaiba. I dunno why there is this statue there anyway.
There is also this place called the "Muscle Park" in 1 of the shopping mall. It's a place to play games which test your strength, intelligence & speed. Japanese really know how to enjoy when they should.

Day 3 ~ Trick Art Museum, ShibuyaDay 3 is all travelling. Took a near 2 hours train to Trick Art Museum...happened to find this place online and thought it looks fun.
Everything was painted in a way that it looks real.

Day 4 ~ Asakusa Temple, Ameyoko Flea Market, Ikebukuro

Next stop...Ikebukuro Sunshine City - Aquarium & Namja Town

A big octopus stuck in a very small tank.

Sea snakes! I haven't seen 1 before in my life.

Care for some sardines?
I actually stayed in Ikebukuro the last time I was there, and it's a nice place. Accessible to everywhere too. So this time round, I chose Ikebukuro again.

Shopping for 2 by the end of Day 4.
Day 5 ~ HakoneWoke up super duper early. 5.45am! Time for nature.

We are lucky to see the head of Mt. Fuji!

Hot springs on the mountains. Wanted to go down for a walk thru the hot springs, but it's damn bloody cold that I think I'm turning into ice anytime soon.

The mountain view. It's already quite cold when u r on land. And imagine high up in the mountain area.
This is one of the great place to visit when in Japan. Amazing views!
Dropped by Yokohama on the way back to Tokyo. Guess who I saw...

Namie Amuro! Actually her pics are on alot of vending machines lah, just that this is the biggest photo I came across.
Day 6 ~ Back to Singapore...Sian lahThat pretty marks the overview of my life for the 6 days in Japan. I wish I can be back in Japan soon!
