HK...

Some thoughts on how I felt about HK...

1. Abit similar to Singapore, I mean the shopping part.
2. They have a great transportation system.
3. They have very big subway stations, you can walk for a long time from one end to the other. I find this part to be quite similar to Tokyo.
4. Their buildings are either very old or very new.
   
5. Love their neon lights at night.
6. Love their food totally. Dim sum, or their local food...nice!
7. It seems to be dripping water everywhere...I dunno why.
8. It's not as big as I thought it would be.
   
9. It's surrounded by so many mountains!
10. I still love how Cantonese is spoken. Too bad I don't know any Cantonese.

Some thoughts on how I felt about Macau:

1. It's beautiful!
2. Their casinos are much nicer and classier than Genting.

Too bad we didn't have much time spent in Macau (only about 3hrs). Maybe I should go Macau again for a short trip...haha ~

Back from Genting & Shop Closed for the Year

Back from Genting.

The journey back is disastrous...bus broke down, jam at Singapore Customs. By the time I reached home, it's already 2.30am (it should be 10pm!).

Slept at 3 and woke up at 7 again for work.

It's been a tiring 2 weeks. Hong Kong...tired & while recovering, I went Genting. Even more tired, and till now, after a week, I'm still feeling so tired and couldn't recover from a cough and flu.

Alright, too much money spent on holidaying this year. Time to close shop, no more travelling for the year!

Back from HK...

On the flight to HK, the pilot said:

"I'm sorry but the flight is a little delayed as we need to wait for a last minute boarding, but don't worry, I will drive a little faster to ensure we reach on time." -- he did use the word "drive", which I thought it's abit inappropriate to be used for a flying object. I think "fly" is a better word...

"I can see the passenger running past the gate now, she will be here in a min".

Within a min, a smiling ang moh young lady walked in....

Been told by several different people that HK is having its typhoon season right now, and we should expect lots of rain. We even brought umbrellas along. But guessed what, 4 super duper sunny days! Super duper hot! Hot until uncomfortable, but I'm not complaining...at least it's better than raining.

The best thing I love about HK is the food! Dim sum & wanton mee...best of the best.
This is also the 1st time I went on a trip and came back nearly empty handed. And they say HK is a shopping paradise. Budget budget budget...

Next trip...Genting Highlands in 3 days!!
